Hey tumblr, you all are fans of HUMAN RIGHTS and DOING THE RIGHT THING. If you’d take a peek at this PETITION for someone in a tough spot who doesn’t deserve to be there, it would be much appreciated. The situation is that someone who is horribly ILL has been trying to get DISABILITY for a very long time, and has been continually DENIED. Now, she has to wait another 18+ months just to hear back, which is destructive for her due to financial and health troubles. SIGN THIS PETITION TO TRY AND SPEED UP THE PROCESS TO HELP SOMEONE IN DIRE NEED.

you know, tumblr, i know i keep posting about animals, but this kitten is making me think. and today’s thought: domestication is f-cking CRAZY! there’s this squirrley little baby cat in my house. an ANIMAL, and every time i pick him up he trusts me not to sqeeze or drop him or something. i pick him up when he needs up and put him down when he needs down, and he lets me knowwhen he wants either. he lets me know when he’s hungry or thirsty or just being a little needy attention whore. all his sounds are different for each. he lets me know.

just sayin. you span inter-species communication every time you interact with your pet.

my favorite thing about animals

My favorite thing about animals is that as you’re petting them they make eye contact with you and you have a moment like “yeah, we’re good friends and we trust each other.” It’s a wondrous thing.

My words and actions are not wrong, you just don’t like them because they don’t fit into your ideal, but fuck you and your ideal. Stop trying to tell me my failings as a friend. You’re FULL of it.
